Let’s Talk About Putter Heads
The Golf Putter Head is the business end of the tool and it transmits the golfer’s intention to the golf ball. A golf putter head can either help or hinder golf putting performance. It helps performance if it is a Blade, is Massive, is Self-Aligning, and Ambidextrous. It is also good to be Durable and Beautiful. Any golf putter that lacks these characteristics is in one way or another a hindrance to your golfing performance. The Quantum Golf Putter Head embodies everything that helps your performance and nothing that hinders it, and that is why the Quantum Golf Putter is superior.
The Quantum Golf Putter Head is a CLASSIC BLADE
A classic blade putter is about one inch from front to back, about four inches from toe to heel, and about one inch from top to bottom. The Quantum Golf Putter is 1.0”H x 1.2”W x 4.0”L, so it is a classic blade putter. And since it is ambidextrous it is also a classic Flat Stick.
Blade Comparison – Other blade putters fit the form factors, but because of unbridled design creativity, the form has been minimized for mass. Usually designers of other blade putters remove the mass behind the striking face and above the sole, this makes the putter head much less massive and it destroys its balance. With less mass comes less momentum. With less momentum comes more waver in your putting stroke. With waver in your putting stroke comes poor putting performance – that is not what any golfer wants.
Add to that the fact that most other blade putters are mis-shafted, either with bent or offset shafts that do not vector into the center of mass of the putter head, and you further destroy balance and get even worse putting performance.
Plus unbridled putter designers, like to give their putters a high-tech appearance with sharp edges, but sharp leading edges cause dreaded leading edge bite, and that is also detrimental to putting performance. The Quantum Golf Putter Head helps your putting performance in every way, and hinders it in no way at all. This is why it is superior to other blades.
Mallet Comparison – Years ago when the Odyssey Two-Ball putter came on the market it started the Mallet Trend that remains popular to this day. The reason putter designers like the mallet genre is that it gives them room to showcase their creativity. But this showcasing does nothing for your putting performance, in fact it is detrimental to it. A mallet has excessive front to back dimension and this is detrimental to good glide – when using a mallet you must flatten your stroke during glide in order to avoid dreaded leading edge bite and/or trailing edge bounce.
Mallets also have excessive sole area and this is detrimental to good glide. Excessive sole area increases drag friction as the head glides across the green and this diminishes momentum.
Mallet designers with their unbridled creativity have put out mallets that look more like the patrons of the Star Wars Tavern than a golf putter. This is distracting and confusing to your mind at a time when your mind should be focusing on the job at hand. So as might be expected, these putters perform like drunken tavern patrons.

The Quantum Golf Putter Head suffers no such design defects and is helpful to your putting performance in every way – that is why it is better than any mallet. The Quantum Golf Putter Head helps your putting performance in every way, and hinders it in no way at all. This is why the Quantum Golf Putter Head is superior.
The Quantum Golf Putter Head is MASSIVE

The Quantum Golf Putter Head is massive and your first impression will likely be that it is too heavy. But don’t be too sure about that, until after we have a chance to explain why it is the way it is.
We wanted to pack as much mass into the blade form as possible and still have the putter be durable and beautiful. Previously we used brass but it was not durable and because it tarnished it was not beautiful. Now we are using stainless steel that is black chrome plated and then milled for accent – it is almost as massive as brass was but it is now both durable and beautiful.
The Quantum Putter Head weighs in at 680 grams With that mass it gives you the smoothest possible stroke while retaining beauty and durability and remaining within the form factor of a classic blade putter. Whether you believe it at first or not, the massive head of the new Quantum Golf Putter is major reason why it is superior to any other golf putter head.
The Quantum Golf Putter is PROPERLY VECTORED
It is a fundamental principle of physics and mechanical engineering that the power of movement should vector precisely into the center of mass of the impacting head, and the center of gravity of the head should impact the center of gravity of the object to be moved. A golf putter is an impacting tool. Therefore it should be properly vectored just like any other impacting tool. When a putter is improperly vectored, the head will twist upon impact and the shaft will vibrate – the first is detrimental to precision putting and the second is just plain annoying. The Quantum Golf Putter shaft is perfectly vectored into the head and that makes it superior to all other mis-vectored putters.
The Quantum Golf Putter Head is SELF-ALIGNING
In the previous topic about the Quantum Shaft, we talked about how the view down the shaft to the head almost automatically aligns the the putter for perfect stance setup. But there is more – the Quantum Head is also self-aligning during the putter stroke.

The patented grooves on the bottom of the Quantum Putter Head comb the green during glide and this combing self-aligns the putter glide to be perpendicular with the intended line even if the golfer might swipe the head across the intended line. Think of it as tread on a tire that prevents skid. The Quantum Grooves are rounded over and they elevate the leading edge of the putter so as to eliminate the possibility of leading edge bite. This patented feature makes the Quantum Putter unique in this regard and superior to all other golf putters.
The Quantum Golf Putter Head is AMBIDEXTROUS
You may not consider this important, especially if you are a right handed golfer. But if you are a lefty you will at least appreciate the fact that finally a putter maker considers you important enough to accommodate.
But there is more to the importance of ambidexterity than that. Whether you are right handed or left handed, there will be times when it is desirable to execute a putt back handed instead of forehanded. Say for example your normal stance puts you on the high side of a steep green contour; instead of stretching your grip to reach the ball with your normal forehand stroke, maybe it would be better to set your stance for a backhand stroke – that way you can choke down on the grip which always gives you more precision than stretching up your grip. This may not happen often, but when it does you will be thankful for having an ambidextrous putter.
Besides you have the friendly benefit of letting your opposite handed golfing buddies give your new Quantum Putter a try.
